You will find that there is always someone willing to lend an extra hand or go flying with you once you have completed your training. We offer advanced clinics and classes to build your skills, and we are always there to help make sure that your equipment is appropriate, tuned and performing.

Your lessons will include learning through our syllabus; working on our flight simulator (many times at different stages); practical exercises (running with the glider and flying!); specific tasks during your flights; spot landing in the landing field; gathering and folding your glider; ground school and much more. Our program is a complete and comprehensive training.

American Paragliding uses what we call "Natural Progression" teaching style, which moves you through each step of your training process, mastering each skill before moving on. We move forward only after we both agree that you are ready for the next step.

Your time is valuable. We are available 7 days a week, 12 months a year. We teach full time, and are available when you are. We don't just do this on the weekends. We are full-time paragliding and paramotoring instructors with space available on our calendars for your lessons!

We sell many brands for the simple reason that pilots are not all the same, and have different needs and preferences. Often, a school will carry one specific brand, and sell against all others. Our training hill is the best in the Unites States! Elings Park has been used to teach foot launched flight for over 30 years. The gentle ocean breezes start every day around 10 am and allow multiple practice flights every day of your training. We are located just 90 minutes north of LAX, nestled between the mountains and the Pacific Ocean.
